One of the most exciting things to watch and experience is the arts as performed by those with a passion. The Lord is looking for those who want to give their time to excellence and spirit in developing their skills for a greater purpose. That is what the Field of Dreams Performing Arts Training Centre’s SUMMER ARTS UNIVERSITY is all about. There will be seven weeks of dance and theater training at the hands of professionally trained instructors with a love for their talent, but more importantly, a love for their Lord. TUITION TO
SUMMER ARTS UNIVERSITY
Prices for each session are
mentioned in the session’s description. It is the desire of the staff
and administration of FODPATC to keep fees low.
After investigating both local and
national studios, we have discounted our rates from 50%-75% over
the national average for summer programs of equal time and expertise.
Registration fees are $25.00 per person and must be paid at the time of registration.
A
25% deposit is due upon
registration
in order to guarantee space and availability
of the class. The remainder of the fees are due on the Monday of the
week (s) registered for.
DISCOUNTS: You get a 25% discount for taking more than one
week. Also, you can receive $25.00 off your tuition for every person
you bring to camp who has never enrolled at FODPATC before. Bring 6 new
people and you go for free!!!!!!

“Happy
Feet” an
intense week of tapping to the classics. “Hoofin’ and Funk” tap will be
explored while dancing to some of your favorite Broadway tunes

“STOMP!”
an
exciting week of tap “Stomp!” style. Use of special rhythms and props
will guarantee a great time!

Pointe Classes

“Let
It Snow” careful
instruction on ballet technique will be taught along with solo dances
from the upcoming FOD production of The Nutcracker. Pointe
students can be expected to dance on Pointe for some technique.

The World” similar
to the first camp, this week will include intense technique work as
well as exploring choreography from group dances from The Nutcracker.

Dance - I” a very popular style of modern/contemporary. This style
is passionate and lyrical in nature. Be prepared for a challenging week!

intense look at modern dance by the greats: Horton, Ailey, and
Cunningham. Be prepared for workout! This is a great week! Ages 12

Fosse” a week of jazz by the Broadway great, Fosse. This will be
jazz like you’ve never seen before!

exciting experience with contemporary jazz set to some of your favorite

It Happen” an
exciting look at choreography and the use of improv in dance. Student

Week With Disney” This
will be an exciting, fun-filled week of dance, crafts and a Bible story
set to some of Disney's classic children’s stories.

on the popular Christian book this week will center around the
fictional character’s adventures. Dance, crafts, story time and games
will highlight the week.

Boys” this week is a great one just for the boys. Explore tap,
hip-hop, funk, and more with just the guys!!!

“Triple Threat Workshop”
This year’s musical theater
class will
involve three elements -
1. Acting, 2. Singing, and 3.
Dancing.
In
today’s musical theater experience it is important to understand the
three elements of the stage. Equal time will be given each day to
acting, singing, and dancing. Be prepared - this will be fun and
powerful!!! The class will perform a scene or two in front of
parents on the Friday at
11:30am.
These classes are open to any one between the
ages of
8 and 100 years of age.

“Anastasia” What an exciting week this will be as we act, dance, and sing selections from the popular movie, Anastasia. Some of your favorite characters (like Bartok) and songs (like “Journey To the Past”) will highlight the week.
